Dudh Pokhari (Milky Lake) & Namunla Pass Trek |
|
Dudhpokhari ( Milky Lake) situated on the border of Lamgung,
Manang and Kaski districts of Nepal is at an altitude of around
(5300m) above the sea level. Legend has it that some three
thousand years ago the Tamu community now Gurung community
of Nepal entered this area from Tibet via Namun Bhanjang Pass
and made their settlement here. Therefore this place is also
known as Tamuwan. The Tamu community had their own King in
the olden days; you can see remains of their Palace till now.
During the Janai Purnima (Sacred Thread Ceremony) thousands
of pilgrimage and visitors through this place for holy worship.
Hindus worship this place as a site for Holy Pilgrimage and
a lot of devotees take this place as the gateway to heaven.
There is a strong belief that if you take a bath in this Dudhpokhari
(Milky Lake) three times then all your sins committed in this
lifetime get purified. Therefore this place is rich in Culture,
Nature, and has a good geographical importance and other attractions

Day 01: |
Arrival at Tribhuban International Airport (T.I.A) and pick up by our private vehicle and than transfer to the Hotel. Day |
Day 02: |
Full day guided sightseeing around the Kathmandu valley. (B) |
Day 03: |
Drive to Besishar to Kapoor gaon. Walk to Ghale gaon(2016m) (B, L, D) |
Day 04: |
Ghlegaon to Rabrachu(3100m) 6 hrs tented camp. (B, L, D) |
Day 05: |
Rabrachu to Thorju. (4500m) 7 hrs tented camp (B, L, D) |
Day 06: |
Acclimatization Day at Torju (4500m) tented camp (B, L, D) |
Day 07: |
Torju to Dafe kharka (4000m) cross Namun la pass (5560m) 6 hrs tented camp (B, L, D) |
Day 08: |
Dafe kharka to Dharapani (1860m) 6 hrs tented camp (B, L, D) |
Day 09: |
Dharapani to Syange (1100m) 6 hrs tented camp (B, L, D) |
Day 10: |
