Everest View Trek

Whilst for many a visit to the foot of Mount Everest is a personal goal, for some it is enough to visit the Everest or Khumbu region and experience the culture, the people, and the spectacular scenery. The Everest View trek is a shorter trek than the Base Camp trek with the famous Tengboche monastery at 3870m being the high point.
It is designed for those who wish to experience this region without ascending to high altitude. Entry to the Khumbu is by air into the airstrip at Lukla, and from here we follow the route of the Base Camp trek to Tengboche monastery. From here we obtain breathtaking views of Everest as it rises above the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge, as well as a superb view of one of Nepal's most beautiful mountains, Ama Dablam - the 'Matterhorn of the Khumbu'. From here we return to Lukla by a slightly different route via Khumjung.
This is a short but classic trek which allows access to the most spectacular mountain views in the world, in a shorter time frame. Accommodation and food is provided in the local lodges. Clients often extend this trip to two full weeks by taking a rafting trip or a visit to Chitwan National Park.

Everest View Trekking Itinerary
Day 01:

Arrival at Tribhuban International Airport and pick up you by our private vehicle and transfer to the Hotel. (D)
Day 02:

30 minutes fly to Lukla, start trek to Phakding (2652m) 5hrs (B.L.D)
Day 03:
Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3446m) 5 ½ hrs (B.L.D)
Day 04:
Acclimatization day in Namche (B.L.D)
Day 05:

Namche to Tengboche (3867m) 5 ½ hrs (B.L.D)
Day 06:
Tengboche to Khumjung (3790m) 5 ½ hrs (B.L.D)
Day 07:
Khumjung to Jorsalle (2805m) 5 ½ hrs (B.L.D)
Day 08:
Jorsalle to Lukla (3446m) 5 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 09:
30 minutes fly back to Kathmandu (1300m) (B.D)
Day 10:

Final departure to your country (B)

 
Trip Cost Includes
  • Airport pickup and drop off by our private car
  • 4 nights Kathmandu hotel room on Breakfast (B) basis
  • All land transfer as per above itineraries by our private vehicle
  • Flight from Kathmandu-Lukla-Kathmandu per person US$ 248 only
  • Trekking permit and Sagarmatha National Park entry permits fees
  • Trekkers Informations Management System (TIMS) permit fees.
  • Accommodation and 3 meals a day such as Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner (B,L,D) while on the trek in Lodges (Tea house)
  • Fully escorted trek with a english speaking license holder local sherpa trekking guide and each 2 persons 1 porter.
  • All program according to itineraries on full board.
