Kathmandu Valley Short Trekking

Within close reach of Kathmandu are beautiful mountains which encircle the capital city of Nepal. Stupas and temples dot the slopes of the hills and hilltop retreats like Nagarkot provide a place to relax and admire the Himalayan views. Our Kathmandu Valley Trek is a gentle introduction to trekking with easy walks but affording great views. It is a great add-on to tours finishing in Kathmandu.

A trek or hike on the mountains of Nepal is not a wilderness experience. It is rather a cultural and nature experience. It is a journey through various ethnic cultures, religion and geographical diversity of this small kingdom.

Kathmandu Valley Short Trekking Itinerary
Day 01:
 Arrival at Tribhuban International Airport and pick up you by our private vehicle and transfer to the Hotel
Day 02:

Full day guided sightseeing around the Kathmandu valley. (B)

Day 03:

Drive to Panauti and trek to Dhulikhel (2000m) 5½ hrs (B.L.D)

Day 04:
Dhulikhel to Nagarkot (2350m) 5½ hrs (B.L.D)
Day 05:
 Nagarkot to Chisopani (2100m) 6 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 06:
Chisopani to Kathmandu via Sundarijal 4 hrs (B)
Day 07:
 Final departure to the Airport for return home (B)

  • Kathmandu Hotel room on bed with Breakfast (B) basis
  • All land transfer as per above itinerary
  • National Park entry permits fee
  • Trekkers Information Management System (T.I.M.S) permits fees.
