Mehra (Khongma Tse) Peak Climbing (5849m)

Khongma Tse, 5,849 meters, was formerly called Mehra Peak or simply Mehra. It rises to the north of Kongma La and stands above the Khumbu Glacier opposite of Lobuje. It is one of several summits, which make up the long south-west ridge of Nuptse.
It is part of the south west ridge of Nuptse. A climb here gives splendid views of Nuptse and Pumori peaks. The route to the mountain follows the trail to Everest base camp before veering off into the Imja Valley. The climb goes up the southeast ridge and requires you to climb a glacier and scramble up broken rocks to gain the south ridge below the summit..

Mehra Peak Climbing Itinerary
Day 01:
 Arrival at Tribhuban International Airport (Kathmandu) You will be meet and pick up by our private vehicle and than transfer to the Hotel.
Day 02:
Sight Seeing Kathmandu Valley (B)
Day 03:
Early Morning 40 minutes flight to Lukla, And commence trek to Phakding (2652m) (B.L.D)
Day 04:
 Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3446m.). (5-6 hr). (B.L.D)
Day 05:
Rest day at Namche for acclimatization. (B.L.D)
Day 06:
 Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche (3867m.). (B.L.D)
Day 07:
 Trek from Tyangboche to Dingboche (4530m.). (6-7 hr). (B.L.D)
Day 08:
 Trek from Dingboche to Chhukung (4730m.) (6-7 hr) (B.L.D)
Day 09:
 Rest day at Chhukung for climbing preparation. (B.L.D)
Day 10:
 Trek from Chhukung to Pokalde Base camp. (B.L.D)
Day 11:
 Climb Pokalde Peak (5745m.) and return back to Pokalde Base Camp. (B.L.D)
Day 12:
Trek from Pokalde Base Camp to Khongma Tse Base Camp. (B.L.D)
Day 13:
Climb Khongma Tse Peak (5820m.) and return back to Khongma Tse Base Camp. (B.L.D)
Day 14:
Trek from Khongma Tse Base Camp to Pokalde Base Camp (B.L.D)
Day 15:
Trek from Pokalde Base Camp to Chhukung. (B.L.D)
Day 16:
Trek from Pokalde Base Camp to Chhukung. (B.L.D)
Day 17:
Trek from Chhukung to Pangboche (3985m.). (B.L.D)
Day 18:
Trek from Pangboche to Khumjung (3790m.).(B.L.D)
Day 19:
Khumjung to Phakding (2652m). (B.L.D)
Day 20:
Phakding to Lukla. By flight. (B)
Day 21:
40 minutes fly back to Kathmandu. (B)
Day 22:
Free day in Kathmandu for shopping (B)
Day 23:
Departure back to your country home (B)
